Planning Department

Planning Services are provided by a contract planner, Farhad Mortazavi.  Planning Services include environmental review and implementation of the city’s land use and development policies as identified in the General Plan and other documents. This includes administration of the city’s zoning, subdivision, and environmental ordinances, design review, and processing of ministerial and discretionary permits, as well as the Resource Allocation Program which is designed to allow for growth in proportion to the resources available to serve new development.
