The Jackson Revitalization Committee (JRC) evolved from an economic development workshop the City Council conducted in January 2008 and a group of citizens interested in pursuing the implementation of ideas spawned from this workshop. The JRC’s mission is to organize a group of persons interested in revitalizing the City of Jackson; recruiting and retaining new businesses and industries; sustaining a growing economy; thus enriching the lives and experiences of Jackson property owners, merchants, residents and tourists.
