This committee, established by the City Council, is made up of local architect Errol Esbit, contractors Ron Regan and Phillip Giurlani, structural engineer Eduardo Avelar, and public relations and remodeling contractor Lucy Hackett. The City Council also appointed three alternates to the DRC - retired teacher Robert Burdick and interior designer Lesley Davis.
The DRC is responsible for reviewing projects located in the Historic Commercial Zone, the Historic Corridor, new subdivisions, and any projects that the Site Plan Review Committee determines is in need of DRC consideration. Any decision made by the DRC may also be appealed to the Planning Commission. The DRC utilizes the newly adopted Architectural Regulations in the decision making process. The meetings are tentatively scheduled for the first and third Tuesday of the month at 3 pm - pending final schedule availability confirmation from the committee members.
